Justapedia's main purpose

'''Justapedia''' exists as an encyclopedia of '''true knowledge''', an ever-growing collection of human understanding, created, refined, and shared by volunteers who wish to contribute what they know to a freely accessible resource for the world, in perpetuity.

At its core, true knowledge represents information and understanding grounded in verifiable evidence, objective reasoning, and accurate representation of facts. It is knowledge that withstands critical scrutiny, confirmed through reliable sources or empirical observation, and presented without distortion, bias, or ideological influence. On Justapedia, truth is not determined by consensus or popularity, but by the pursuit of factual accuracy, historical integrity, and intellectual honesty.
 

True knowledge is built upon three guiding principles:

Justapedia editors, known as '''Justapedists''', not only create new articles but also improve existing ones to ensure compliance with Justapedia:Policies and guidelines and its Five fundamental principles. Many of Justapedia’s current articles originated from external encyclopedic sources, including those covering contentious or historically biased topics where neutrality and objectivity have often been compromised. Volunteers work diligently to restore balance and factual integrity to such content, aligning it with the mission and goals of the Justapedia Foundation.

The '''Justapedia Foundation''' is committed to fostering projects, communities, and contributors that are diverse, inclusive, and accessible to all.  The Foundation seeks to ensure that everyone who joins, be it now or in the future, has a positive experience within a safe and healthy environment. It also remains steadfast in protecting all projects from vandalism and malicious behavior that could distort or damage content.
